Backpacker’s Club Malindi

How I ended up living in a friend’s ocean-front villa on the Kenya coast, while he was in Miami is a book in itself. Suffice to say, because of his generosity, I established a hospitality business on his property, without compromising its splendid integrity, the Backpacker’s Club Malindi.

Set on two acres of palm groves and frangipani, with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, and surrounded by coral coves and silver sand beaches, few villas on the Swahili Coast offer better value for money. Tranquility is guaranteed.

The villa is only a stone’s throw away from the Malindi-Watamu Marine National Park, created to protect the rich biodiversity of the coral reefs along the south Kenyan coast. Karibu…where the wind cries, “Salaama.” Enjoy!
